We open the doors of our PV plant in Uta (Cagliari – Sardinia) for the second edition of Green Energy Day,

the National Day for Energy Transition

Once again, we’re taking part in Green Energy Day 2025, the national event dedicated to the energy transition, which will take place on April 12.

The initiative, promoted by Coordinamento Free and sponsored by the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, aims to bring the public closer to the world of renewable energy and the energy transition. It does so by opening the doors of renewable energy production sites and companies throughout Italy that have committed to energy efficiency.

To mark the occasion, we will open to the public our photovoltaic plant in Uta (Cagliari – Sardinia), operated by Blusolar Uno Srl. The event will include guided tours with specialized technicians and dedicated sessions on sustainability and technological innovation.

This single-axis tracker plant, with an installed capacity of approximately 82 MW, helped us avoid 64,781 tons of CO₂ emissions and power over 50,000 households in 2024 alone.

The event is designed to engage institutions, companies, schools, associations, and citizens who are interested in understanding how renewable energy technologies work and what role they play in the energy transition. It’s an opportunity to reflect on decarbonization and the impact of technology on climate change.

The day’s program includes two morning sessions (9:30–10:45 / 11:00–12:15), featuring:

  • A guided tour of the plant with our technicians to explore its key features.

  • An opportunity for networking with industry professionals.

  • A focus session on innovation and sustainability.

Initiatives like Green Energy Day are essential for raising awareness about renewable energy and its role in the energy transition—vital for the future of our planet and requiring the engagement of everyone, from institutions to individuals and businesses. Opening our plants to the public means offering a tangible experience of solar energy’s potential and showing how the private sector can contribute meaningfully and sustainably to decarbonization

says Daniele Spada, General Manager of Tages Capital SGR.

This initiative is an opportunity to show our real commitment to the energy transition and how we put it into practice every day by harnessing the power of the sun—a resource that is abundant in Italy. We want to raise awareness about the importance of renewables as an alternative to fossil fuels, and what better way to do that than by showing our plants up close.

adds Lorenzo Petralito, CEO of Delos Power.

The event is free and open to the public, with advance registration via email required.
